Ever wondered what it’s like to live in a fully sustainable, off-grid home? Join us for our annual Open House at theDoighouse!
Step inside our Earthship-inspired home and learning centre to explore how low-impact living, recycled materials, and clever eco-design come together right here in Lighthouse Country.
We will be hosting two guided tours to share the inner workings, stories, and the 6 core Earthship principles.

Route 19A Arts Festival
The Route 19A Arts Festival is returning for its 4th annual showcase of local art and artists, and theDoighouse is proud to be a part of the journey again! Last year, our space was filled with incredible energy and music as we hosted three unforgettable acts: The Finch and the Fiddler, Zonnis, and Tamara Paulin.

The Brain Porter
Strapped with an upright bass, a suitcase on one foot, a pile of antler bones on the other, and enough FX pedals to kill a bear, The Brain Porter produces a sound that mystifies anyone with any sense of “Tradition”.
Regularly compared to Beck, Ween, and Zappa, he brings his own brand of strange.
