Route 19A Arts Festival
The Route 19A Arts Festival is returning for its 4th annual showcase of local art and artists, and the Doighouse is proud to be part of the journey again!
This year, we are thrilled to welcome performing artists Lily Fawn and The Brain Porter on Monday, September 21, 2026.

Annual Earthship Open House & Tours
Ever wondered what it’s like to live in a fully sustainable, off-grid home? Join us for our annual Open House at the Doighouse!
Step inside our Earthship-inspired home and learning centre to explore how low-impact living, recycled materials, and clever eco-design come together right here in Lighthouse Country.
We will be hosting two guided tours to share the inner workings, stories, and the 6 core Earthship principles.

Every tire, bottle, and square inch of our Earthship and gardens is filled with the kindness and spirit of the people who have gathered here – sharing their ideas, enthusiasm, and lived experiences. While we are no longer accepting new volunteers, our spaces and programs ring with the lasting effort of all the amazing friends and guests who have given their skills to help shape this place over the years.
